Julie is a lovely casual tote, perfect for the summer. There are very generous exterior slip pockets front and back, with interior zip and slip pockets. The brown bag also has a hidden zip pocket inside the rear external slip pocket! Both backs have feature handles: the blue/pink has sparkly clear round resin handles, and the brown has faux bamboo handles. Both bags have detachable adjustable shoulder straps.

The blue/pink version exterior is in indigo denim with a pink and blue floral print, and pink and white striped cotton canvas. The main lining is purple poly-satin with a contrast floral blue fabric inside the pockets.

The brown version has a fine wool exterior in contrasting plain and check. The main lining is a textured cream home-dec fabric, with gold poly-satin linings to the pockets. SOLD.

Melona features an “origami” panel on the front, and we love it! This bag is all about the detail, from the handle anchors, to the zipper overlays, and the little pop of colour in the end pocket linings. There are plenty of pockets, and the handles are long enough for over-the-shoulder as well as carrying the bag in your hand. These bags both have faux leather exteriors and cotton linings. The black and pewter bag has silver coloured hardware, and the brown bag has gold coloured hardware.

The client that commissioned this bag is a passionate skier that works as a peripatetic singing teacher. She wanted something ski-themed that is big enough for all her music folders, and with plenty of pockets. I think this fits the bill!
